– Trickster’s today taps a tart Berliner Weisse , served straight or with a traditional raspberry syrup.

– New Boundary releases a Honey Wheat just in time for Cheney’s Mayfest celebration.

UPDATE THURSDAY 5/12

– Four downtown breweries are having release parties Friday for the collaboration cream ale they brewed for next week’s Spokane Craft Beer Week: Black Label’s Honey Spiced (with cardamom and homegrown honey), River City’s ginger version , the Steam Plant’s Horchata take (with cinnamon, sugar and vanilla) and both berry and tiramisu variations plus the original by Orlison . (All will be pouring side-by-side , along with offerings from Little Spokane and Young Buck, at River City on Monday.)

UPDATES WEDNESDAY 5/11

– Slate Creek taps a Slackline Saison (6.9 percent ABV) brewed with lemon peel and grains of paradise for tonight’s Slate @ 8:00 , with $3 pints, live music and pizza by the slice.

UPDATES TUESDAY 5/10

– Daft Badger has a “session” IPA (at 6.3 percent ABV) for its weekly Wednesday small-batch release.

A look at the upcoming week in local craft beer:

MONDAY

– The new Rhythmic RyePA is the beer of the week at Twelve String, with $1 off pints and growler fills.

SATURDAY

– Mad Bomber has a release party for its new imperial blonde ale (9.1 percent ABV) from noon to 4, with $4 pints and a guest appearance from noon to 4 by Post Falls’ Up North Distillery .

– The Total Wine stores in North Spokane and the Valley are participating in a 1 p.m. webcast about this year’s Sierra Nevada Beer Camp Across America collaboration mix pack (which will be available for sale); tickets are $10.

– Downdraft’s Spring Fling Thing kicks off today with Bubbadogz hot dogs available starting at 2 p.m., small-batch beer releases including an India red ale and huckleberry pale at 5 and live music by Fair 2 Middlin’ around 6.
