Your weekly roundup

Catching up with more news from the past week in local craft beer:
– No-Li is extending its small-batch beer festival schedule into the winter season.
The Frost Fest , Dec. 10 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., will again feature 10 or so infused and barrel-aged specialties. Admission is $15, which includes a souvenir T-shirt, pint glass and five drink tickets (4-ounce pours for one ticket, 10 ounces for two).
Space is limited to 300 people; these sell out well in advance, so get your tickets online at the link above, or at the pub.
– Speaking of No-Li, The Melting Pot restaurant in downtown Spokane is offering a four-course fondue menu paired with the brewery’s beers for $39 through October; call (509) 926-8000 for reservations.
– In case you hadn’t heard, the grand opening for Badass Backyard Brewing ’s new taproom in the Argonne Mission Center, originally set for today, has been rescheduled for Oct. 15 (assuming all stays on schedule).
Meanwhile, V Twin still is on track for an Oct. 21 grand opening just up the road at 2302 N. Argonne.
– Also announced this week was a new Nectar Wine and Beer expected to open next spring in the South Perry District at Ninth Avenue. Plans look near-identical to the Kendall Yards store, with 16 beer taps plus bottle and can selections.
Craft beer also will be added to the offerings at sister establishment Nectar Tasting Room downtown, which is being rebranded as Nectar Catering and Events.
– Liberty Stop N’ Go at the Stateline Plaza has added growler fills, with mostly local beers pouring from eight taps through a Pegas CrafTap counter pressure system (like the one recently installed at Pilgrim’s Market in Coeur d’Alene).
And if you haven’t yet, check out the growler offerings at Heritage Meats in Hayden (just down Government Way from Mad Bomber), which has 46 beer and cider taps plus nine for wine and four for kombucha.
