The Dirt: More retail and restaurants to fill new building in Kendall Yards

Another commercial building will rise on the south side of Summit Parkway in Kendall Yards. It’s designed to have two restaurants and other retail spaces and expected to open in summer 2017. Greenstone affiliate North Gorge Commercial Partners LLC plans to start within two weeks on the $2.2 million project for the Kendall Yards Bluff Building, 1323 W. Summit Parkway.

Nora Francis, 60, couldn’t see the small font size for contact names. Separately, annoying icons kept popping up on her device’s screen. At a recent information fair, Francis quickly turned over her smartphone to tech-savvy Ethan Merchant, 20, an employee of Spokane’s Students 4 Seniors. The new company matches college students with older adults who need tutoring to better understand and use their devices.
