Dear Heloise: When we were building our home and it was unfinished, we did not have a bathtub. This became a problem, as my son became too big to sit in the baby bathtub. So, I bought the smallest round blow-up swimming pool that I could find. I did not blow it up all the way so that it would be flexible enough to fit in the bottom of the shower.

Dear Heloise: We have all (or most all of us, anyway) been left with many ashtrays that are no longer used. They can be used as:

soap dishes

fat candleholders

jewelry and other trinket holders

key holders
