It’s So A-Peeling

For most cooks, peeling garlic probably ranks right up there with washing spinach on the list of least-loved kitchen chores.

So, if you’re smart, you’ll buy bags of pre-washed spinach, and pick up an E-Z-Rol garlic peeler - an unassuming, beige or green rubber tube that really does the job. Just put the garlic cloves inside, apply downward pressure and roll briskly back and forth on a countertop or table until you hear a crinkling noise. Those pesky, papery skins are history.

You might even find that you can use the E-Z-Rol to help stuff things. Like stockings, for example.

Price: About $8.
