Being From ‘Baywatch,’ Pam Gets Overexposed

Compiled By Staff Writer Dan Web

There are so many reports about “Baywatch” babe Pamela Anderson Lee and her husband, Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee, that it’s hard to separate fact from fiction.

It’s hard even to summon up enough energy to try.

But amid the reports of wild partying, wild sex, pregnancies and hospitalizations, Anderson says that all is well at marriage central.

“It’s such a romantic relationship,” she says.

Case in point: She’s trained the tattooed boy to bring her tea in bed. And: For one party, she dressed him up as “King of Tommy Land,” which featured him wearing a gold crown, a gold cape, purple-tinted fingernails and toenails.

It’s enough to make one nostalgic for Michael and Lisa-Marie.

Loose talk

Sally Field on her homemaker calling (in People magazine): “I’m a woman who was brought up in the ‘50s, and so there’s part of me that still wants to be June Cleaver and call to the family, ‘Dinner’s ready!”’

Grandpa Henry, father Peter, Auntie Jane are fond of her

Bridget Fonda turns 32 today.

When daddy’s not available, mum’s the word

Is Britain’s Duchess of York, aka Sarah Ferguson, a spendthrift? The estranged wife of Prince Andrew recently visited Washington, D.C., for a series of charity appearances. As she arrived at D.C’s Four Seasons Hotel - suites range from $600 to $1,600 a night - a reporter shouted: “Are you going to pay the bill?” The duchess didn’t answer.

No, but then he’d already fulfilled his duty

Comedian Martin Lawrence may not be that far removed from his character the Fox show “Martin.” When his wife, Patricia Southall, gave birth to the couple’s daughter, Jasmin, on Jan. 15, Lawrence was so hyper that one nurse lost patience with him. “Your wife is the one who’s handling this,” she reportedly said. “You’re not doing anything!”

All together, let’s sing now, ‘E.T., phone home’

Expect to hear soon from the British singing group Babylon Zoo, whose song “Spaceman” sold 500,000 copies its first week. Front man is Jan Mann, 24, a half-Asian, half-Sioux whose big black hair features a white streak. “I write about what it is like to be a person from another planet,” he says, “rather than romanticizing science fiction.”

There’s only one way to say, ‘Hey, Laaaa-deeee!’

So how important is Jerry Lewis to the traveling “Damn Yankees” production that recently played Seattle? When 69-year-old Lewis lost his voice for a show Sunday in San Antonio, some 200 fans requested a refund rather than attend a performance with stand-in Jamie Ross.

Question is, how will he evict the lingering odor?

Geraldo Rivera is turning over a new leaf. “We’re getting rid of the sleaze,” the talk-show host said of his new show, “The Geraldo Rivera Show,” which begins its syndicated run Sept. 1. “It’s all history.” A pioneer of such “sleaze,” Rivera said, “Frankly, I was sick of it.”
