Burleigh ‘Bud’ Moynier Grayland, Wash.

Visitation for Burleigh A. “Bud” Moynier, 81, will be from 10 to 11 a.m. today at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Westport, Wash. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. today at the church.

Interment will follow at Wynooche Cemetery in Montesano, Wash. Whiteside Funeral Chapel in Aberdeen, Wash., is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Moynier, who was born in Bismarck, N.D., died Thursday.

He worked at Pacific Northwest Alloys for 15 years and Sacred Heart Medical Center for 18 years as a housekeeper until he retired in 1982.

He married Gertrude Hagel in 1944.

Mr. Moynier was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church of Westport.

He is survived by his wife; and four sisters, Edna Ussin of Billings, Mont., Florence and Madge Baarstad, and Evelyn Sinkula, all of Tacoma.

Peggy Klein Redding, Calif.

Graveside service for Peggy Alene Klein, 58, will be at 11 a.m. today at Fairmount Memorial Park. Allen and Dahl Funeral Chapel in Redding is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Klein, who was born in Spokane, died Thursday.

She was a homemaker and had lived in Spokane for 21 years. She moved to Redding 13 years ago.

She was a member of Women of the Moose No. 615, the College of Regions of the Women of the Moose, International Co-Worker of the Year of the Women of the Moose, the Academy of Friendship of the Women of the Moose and the National Association of Tole Painters.

She is survived by her husband, Harry Klein.

Donald Giddings Republic, Wash.

Graveside service for Donald Myron Giddings, 50, will be at 11 a.m. today at the Republic Cemetery. Bergh Funeral Service in Republic is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Giddings, a lifetime resident of Republic, died Saturday.

He was a graduate of Republic High School and served in the Army National Guard.

He worked as a logger and later went into the construction business.

Mr. Giddings is survived by his wife, Belinda; two sons, Jack and Jerry; a daughter, Rachel; a stepdaughter, Shelly Burbank; his father, Myron; a sister, Joyce Collins and two brothers, Roger and Casey.

Annette Green Spokane

Memorial service for Annette W. Green, 78, will be at 2 p.m. today at Hazen and Jaeger Funeral Home.

Mrs. Green, a lifetime resident of Spokane, died Friday.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and served as president of Assistance Inc.

Mrs. Green is survived by her husband, Stanley; two sons, Howard and George Green, both of Spokane; seven grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren.

Patrick Keilty Spokane

Service for Patrick J. Keilty, 45, is set for 2 p.m. Thursday at Heritage Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Riverside Memorial Park.

Mr. Keilty, a lifetime resident of Spokane, died Saturday in an auto accident at Bozeman, Mont.

He worked as a commercial truck driver.

Mr. Keilty was a member of the Barons Flying Club, Spokane RC Flying Club and Liberty Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Jenny; two sons, Patrick and Joshua, both at the home; three daughters, Katilyn at the home, and Jodie and Jackie, both of Seattle; his parents, Wendell and Aileen; two brothers, Shane of Spokane and Mike of Coeur d’Alene; and five sisters, MaryKay, Kathy, M’liss, Kim and Wendy.

Charles Marts Spokane

No service will be held for Charles R. Marts, 64, at his request. Inurnment will be at Arlington National Cemetery. The Cremation Society of Washington is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Marts, who was born in Moundsville, W.Va., died Friday.

He served in the Navy during the Korean War.

Mr. Marts worked as a banker in Plainfield, N.J. and moved to Spokane after his retirement in 1981.

He was a volunteer for the Veterans Administration Medical Center and the American Red Cross.

Survivors include two sons, Christopher Marts of Bel Air, Md., and Richard Marts of Ocean City, Md.; and a brother in Texas.

James Blair Clarkston, Wash.

Service for James A. Blair, 77, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Kramer Funeral Home in Palouse, Wash. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Palouse.

Mr. Blair, who was born in Moscow, Idaho, died Sunday.

He graduated in 1939 from Palouse High School.

He enlisted in the National Guard, and in 1940 transferred from the Guard to active duty in the Army.

In 1946 he married Doris Steed Austin.

After the war he returned to Palouse and farmed until he retired in 1989. He moved to Clarkston in 1994.

Mr. Blair was a member of the Masonic Lodge, American Legion Hayton Post No. 55, Palouse Grange No. 177, Veterans of Foreign Wars Palouse Post 51, the Palouse Lions Club, and was an honorary member of the Palouse chapter of Future Farmers of America.

He was also a volunteer firefighter, a Cub Scout and Boy Scout leader, a 4-H leader, and a director for the Palouse Grange Supply, the Palouse Grain Growers and the Palouse Rural Fire District.

Mr. Blair is survived by his wife; four sons, Dennis Blair of Colville, Wash., Larry Blair of St. Maries, and Jerry and Terry Blair, both of Palouse; a brother, Ed Blair of Surprise, Ariz.; two sisters, Emma Day and Marie Landgren, both of Palouse; and nine grandchildren.

Stella Gust Spokane

Memorial service for Stella M. Gust, 74, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Otis Orchards. Hazen and Jaeger Valley Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Gust, who was born in Alamosa, Colo., died Sunday.

She moved to Idaho in 1945 and then to Spokane in 1951. She worked in retail sales for many years.

She is survived by three sons, Everett Gust of Kellogg, and Wayne and Duane Gust, both of Spokane; four daughters, Charlyne Anton of Portland, Lucia O’Neil of Spokane, Gwen Huck of Newman Lake and Sue Holbrook of Bremerton; her stepmother, Sadie Valdez of California; three brothers, Robert and Leo Valdez, both of Colorado, and Gary Valdez of Pennsylvania; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Mae Oberg Spokane

Graveside service for Mae Oberg, 92, was Monday at Greenwood Memorial Cemetery. Hazen and Jaeger Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Oberg died Wednesday. She was a graduate of North Central High School.

Mrs. Oberg and her husband, Stan, owned Oberg Jewelers in Spokane.

She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.

Mrs. Oberg was preceded in death by her husband.

Florence Snyder Spokane Service for Florence B. Snyder, 78, will be held at a later date. Thornhill Valley Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Born in Sawtelle, Calif., Mrs. Snyder died Sunday.

She was a 30-year resident of Spokane and worked as a secretary.

She is survived by a daughter, Sharon Snyder of Spokane; a sister, Ruth Mason of California; and a brother, Hugh Morris of California.

Donald Iverson St. Regis, Mont.

Memorial service for Donald E. Iverson, 68 will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at English Funeral Chapel in Coeur d’Alene. Burial will follow at Forest Cemetery.

Mr. Iverson, who was born in Spokane, died Monday in Spokane at the VA Hospital.

He served in the Air Force for about 22 years and retired as a master sergeant. He then worked as a dental lab technician in Spokane.

He was a member of the Post Falls American Legion Post 143, a charter member of the Hayden Lake (Idaho) Eagles, a member of the Kootenai Masonic Lodge No. 24 and the Shriners.

Survivors include two daughters, Terry Nagrone of Meridian, Idaho, and Penni Erickson of Riverside, Calif.; two sisters, Barbara Johnston of Moscow, Idaho, and Patricia Stevens of Chattaroy; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Hazel Norman Post Falls

Private service was held for Hazel Florence Norman, 77.

Mrs. Norman, who died Sunday, was born in Sandpoint.

She worked as a nurses aide at Mountainside Health Care Center in Sandpoint for more than 20 years.

She married Ed Norman in 1941. He preceded her in death.

Mrs. Norman is survived by three daughters, Elaine Finney of Post Falls, Nancy Benjamin of Sandpoint and Carolyn Holub of Spokane; four brothers, Robert Reed of Raymond, Wash., Ray Reed of Hayden Lake, Idaho, Al Reed of Smelterville, Idaho, and Archie Reed of Okanogan, Wash.; a sister, Belle Hickey of Spokane; three grandchildren and a great-grandson.

Angela James Spokane

Private memorial service was held for Angela D. James, 16.

Miss James, who was born in Little Rock, Ark., died Aug. 3 in an automobile collision near Superior, Mont.

She had lived in Spokane most of her life and attended Rogers High School.

She is survived by her mother, Mary Spencer; her father, Milton Hegwood III of Las Vegas; two brothers, Christopher Spencer and Bryan James, both of Spokane; two sisters, Gwendolyn Barnes and Virla Spencer, both of Spokane; and her grandmothers, Magdalena Spencer and Nancy Hegwood, both of Little Rock.

Kathryn Weber Lewiston

Service for Kathryn L. Weber, 96, was held Monday in Uniontown, Wash. Burial followed at St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery. Kimball Funeral Home in Pullman was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Weber, who was born in Keuterville, Idaho, died Friday.

She married George Weber in 1920 and farmed between Uniontown and Colton, Wash.

In 1949 they moved to Lewiston and in 1951 moved to Clarkston, Wash. Her husband died in 1986 and she moved back to Lewiston in 1987.

Mrs. Weber was a homemaker and a member of the St. Boniface and Holy Family parishes and the Cathedral of Our Lady of Lourdes, the Uniontown and Clarkston altar societies, the Guild at Clarkston and the American Legion Auxiliary-Boyd Maynard Post 128.

Survivors include four daughters, Gertrude Taylor of Mesa, Ariz., Esther Frei of Clarkston, Betty Mose of Conklin Park, Idaho, and Eileen Meshishnek of Pullman; three sons, LeRoy and Edward Weber, both of Colton, and Harold Weber of Uniontown; 42 grandchildren, 87 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
