Teams of employees from local companies who plan to participate in this year’s March of Dimes WalkAmerica can sign up Thursday and get a free espresso.

Team captains who stop by any Jacob’s Java location from 7 to 9 a.m. Thursday to register their team will receive a free espresso and morning snack, as will any individuals who want to pre-register for the April 25 walk.

The Spokane WalkAmerica committee will hold an official kick-off event at the Jacob’s Java at 526 S. Washington from 7 to 9 a.m. Thursday. Other Jacob’s Java locations also will be participating: 8701 N. Division, 12806 Sunset Highway and 3023 E. Fairview.

Companies and individuals interested in participating in the walk but who are unable to stop by today can call 328-1920 for registration information. , DataTimes
