Patrick A. Kelleher Recognized For Efforts On Military Space Plan
Marine Lt. Col. Patrick A. Kelleher, a former Spokane resident, received a commendation letter from the commander in chief of the U.S. Space Command for his contribution in developing the joint command’s long-range plan.
The plan sets priorities for military space operations identifying future war-fighting capabilities, concepts of operation, organizations and partnerships.
Kelleher, a 1976 graduate of Gonzaga Prep, is the son of Raymond and Catherine Kelleher.
Glenn A. Crosby, a professor of chemistry and materials science at Washington Sate University, was honored during the Waynesburg College’s Charter Day for his achievements in teaching science and research methods.
A 1950 graduate of Waynesburg (Pa.) College, Crosby is internationally recognized for his research in molecular electronic spectroscopy of inorganic complexes and solids.
Jeremy Morrison and Edward Siebert, Spokane residents and students at Central Washington University where they are Air Force ROTC cadets, have been selected to attend flight school at an Air Force pilot training center.
Morrison is a 1991 graduate of Central Valley High School.
Sherry Wilson, a Ferris High School graduate, has been elected to the Phi Beta Kappa, Delta Chapter, at Macon Woman’s College in Lynchburg, Va., where she is a senior.
Wilson is the daughter of Darlene Johnson, Spokane.
Two Spokane-area residents graduated this spring from Bowling Green State University in Ohio:
Alianna C. Dias, Greenacres, graduated with a bachelor of fine arts degree, and Ronald Dean Schlegel, Medical Lake, received a master of arts degree.
