Roy McKinley Pinehurst, Idaho

Memorial service for Roy T. McKinley, 80, will be today at 2 p.m. at Kellogg Elks Lodge. Inurnment will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Kellogg. Shoshone Funeral Service in Kellogg is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. McKinley, who was born in Wallace, died Sunday.

He was a lifelong Silver Valley resident and graduated from Kellogg High School in 1936.

Mr. McKinley served with the Navy during World War II. He later returned to the Silver Valley and worked as a warehouse manager for The Bunker Hill Co. before retiring in 1982.

He was a charter member of the Kellogg Elks Lodge.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Betty; three sons, Tom McKinley of Kellogg, Bill McKinley of Oregon and Richard McKinley of Alaska; a sister, Mary Verberkmoes of California; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Rose Cook Lewiston

Viewing for Rose V. Cook, 76, will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. today at Sherman Knapp Funeral Home in Newport, Wash. Service will follow at 1 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in Priest River, Idaho. Malcom’s Brower-Wann Memorial Chapel in Lewiston is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Cook, who was born in West Virginia, died Saturday.

She grew up in the Priest River-Priest Lake area and graduated from Priest River High School in 1941.

Mrs. Cook later co-owned a logging business there.

She moved to Lewiston in 1992 to be near family and was active in several senior centers.

Her husband, Jack, died in 1992.

Survivors include two sons, Joe Cook of Florida and Kip Cook of Priest River; two daughters, Sharon McCoy of Lewiston and Christine St. George of Texas; 18 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Rosena Conner Spokane

Funeral for Rosena O. Conner is scheduled for 1 p.m. today at Thornhill Valley Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Riverside Memorial Park.

Mrs. Conner, who was born in Ogden, Utah, died Sunday. She was 86.

She was raised in Pend Oreille County and in 1935 married Vance Conner in Ruby, Wash.

A homemaker, Mrs. Conner has resided in Spokane for the past few years.

Her husband died in 1975.

Survivors include two daughters, Elaine Betz of Cheney and Susan Slocumb of Rathdrum, Idaho; two sons, Kenneth Conner of North Pole, Alaska and Larry Conner of Port Macquarie, Australia; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Anna Miracle Spokane

Funeral for Anna E. Miracle, 95, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Hazen and Jaeger Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Fairmount Memorial Park.

Mrs. Miracle, who was born in Perham, Minn., died Saturday.

She married Clarence Miracle in 1925, and they moved to Spokane in 1959.

She was a homemaker and was a member of the Rebekah Lodge. She also did volunteer work with the Salvation Army for several years.

Her husband died in 1983.

Survivors include three daughters, Winnifred Schmidt of Spokane, Ida Benninger of Nelson, British Columbia and Eunice Jones of Wenatchee; three sons, Harry Miracle of Spokane, Doug Miracle of Bonners Ferry, Idaho and Harley Miracle of Centralia, Wash.; 21 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Adult Care Center in Spokane.
