Spokane’s Powers Candy & Nut Co. produces a line of Western Trail Mix snacks made with real chocolate, slow-roasted peanuts and clump-free raisins.

There are six varieties — Original, Peanut Butter & Jelly, Cranberry Apple Raisin, Tropical Fruit & Nut, Rice Crackers & Nuts and Island Crunch — enough for a different fuel each outing from Monday through Saturday. And on the seventh day, you get to rest.

Price: About $1 for 4 ounces, or $2.50-$3 for 10 ounces.

Available: At area Tidyman’s, Yoke’s, Super 1, Rosauers and Albertsons supermarkets.
