Something To Chew On

In the food world, being compared to leather usually isn’t a compliment.

But there’s nothing tough to swallow about Stretch Island Fruit Leather from Grapeview, Wash. The soft, chewy fruit strips come in an orchard full of flavors, from Sweet Strawberry to Chunky Cherry to Truly Tropical, in regular and organic versions.

All in all, they’re an impressive piece of leatherwork.
