St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church was the setting for the Aug. 7 wedding ceremony of Emily Dawn Vasquez and Herb Dierks III.

The bride is the daughter of Maureen Vasquez and Armando Vasquez, both of Spokane. The bridegroom is the son of Aimee Dierks, Sandpoint, and Herb Dierks Jr., Columbus, Neb.

A reception followed at Rendezvous Events. The couple are living in Spokane after a honeymoon along the Oregon Coast.
