Folks who typically shy away from anything labeled “jerky” might want to give Vegi Jerky a try.

Mild ‘n’ Mellow Vegi Jerky is produced by Green Options Inc., a California company known for its popular Vegi Deli line of meat alternatives. As the name implies, it is a mild jerky that doesn’t carry the strong taste of many traditional meat-based jerky products. And it’s not quite as tough to chew.

Vegi Jerky is made from all natural ingredients and contains no preservatives, saturated fat, cholesterol or animal ingredients. It’s available in two more flavors as well, Teriyaki and Hot ‘n’ Peppered.
