Gillis-Meland Coeur D’Alene

Wedding vows were exchanged by Shelly Bernadine Meland and Mick J. Gillis in a Sept. 25 ceremony at the Spokane home of the bride’s grandmother, Lovella Lindskog.

Mel Meland, Spokane, and Linda Nance, Kent, Wash., are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of George Gillis, Spokane, and Kathy Gillis, Ritzville, Wash.

A reception followed the ceremony at the wedding site. The couple are living in Coeur d’Alene after a honeymoon on Catalina Island, Calif.

The bride, a graduate of West Valley High School, works in customer service for Cabletron Systems. The groom, who graduated from East Valley High School, is a formsetter for Hometowne Construction in Coeur d’Alene.
