Colorado lineman commits to EWU

Christian Stefo, a 6-foot-6, 315-pound offensive tackle at Pomona High School in Arvada, Colo., has orally committed to play football at Eastern Washington University next fall.

Stefo, a two-time selection to the Denver Post’s elite All-Colorado team, visited the EWU campus last weekend and said he liked “the campus, the weather, the players, the coaches – everything about it.” He selected Eastern after receiving scholarship offers from South Dakota, Northern Colorado and Colorado State.

Eastern Washington University senior Marie Demerath was named Big Sky Conference player of the week after posting a 2-0 record in singles and 2-0 record in doubles during the Eagles’ wins over Lewis-Clark State and Whitworth.
