Fresh Sheet: No Boundaries on the River

No-Li Brewhouse presents its small-batch beer festival from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday.

The fest features a dozen small-batch beers, including barrel-aged, experimental and infused brews such as Whiskey Barrel-Aged Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla-Infused Wrecking Ball Imperial Stout. All of the beers at No Boundaries on the River are single-keg creations. Once the keg is empty, that beer is gone.

Annual Sukiyaki Dinner

Baked goods, cookbooks, crafts, senbei and sushi will be available for purchase at Highland Park United Methodist Church’s Annual Sukiyaki Dinner on Saturday.

The event takes place from noon to 6 p.m. at the church, 611 S. Garfield St. Tickets are $12.50.

Haru Matsuri

Chicken teriyaki is on the menu at Spokane Buddhist Temple’s Haru Matsuri Spring Food Festival.

Some of the best students from Spokane Community College’s Inland Northwest Culinary Academy will work with professional chefs to prepare a four-course meal, paired with fine wines from a guest winemaker, for this wine and gourmet gala.

A silent and live auction gives attendees a chance to support INCA as well as the Community Colleges of Spokane Foundation.
