Cross-Country Ski Lessons Ages 13 and older. Learn the basics of cross-country skiing skills at Mt. Spokane Selkirk Nordic Area, taught by PSIA certified cross-country ski instructors. Snowshoe Tour Mt. Spokane Ages 13 and older. Learn the basics of snowshoeing and try this fun winter sport. During the guided hike you will travel on snowshoe trails through the snow-covered trees and hills around Mt. Spokane. New Year’s at Silver Mountain Ski, board and tube under the lights until 6 p.m. (tubing until 7 p.m.) and warm up in Silver Rapids with a balloon drop, lazy river duck race and a family New Year’s celebration.
