– Quartzite tonight releases its Citraweizen unfiltered, Citra-hopped wheat beer collaboration with Northern Ales.
– Twelve String will tap a firkin of cask-conditioned Batch 201 IPA for First Friday.
UPDATES WEDNESDAY 5/4
– River City releases this year’s seasonal Clocktower Imperial IPA in the taproom on Friday.
– Mad Bomber’s third annual EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) Memorial Fundraiser on Saturday starting at noon, to benefit the EOD Warrior Foundation , will feature a rifle raffle and the release of a new Recon IPA; your first beer is free with military ID (active or retired).
– The spring session Bunkhouse Blonde makes its debut Saturday at 238 Brewing ($3 pints for moms), with the Family Pitmasters barbecue truck on hand.
UPDATES TUESDAY 5/3
– A sour red will be Wednesday’s weekly small-batch release at Daft Badger.
– Slate Creek taps a Piton Porter for its weekly Wednesday Slate @ 8:00, with $3 pints, live music and pizza by the slice.

MONDAY
– No-Li recognizes Mead as its May LocALE Monday neighborhood of the month; get a free souvenir pint glass with a purchase of Switch Hitter Golden Ale (or $5 separately) on Mondays between 5 and 8 p.m.
– Twelve String’s beer of the week is Mango Mambo, with $1 off pints and growler fills.
THURSDAY
– Mad Bomber releases this month’s Action Comics cover print , with proceeds supporting the EOD Warrior Foundation .
– Nectar Wine and Beer welcomes Paradise Creek as its May brewery of the month, with Kugar Kolsch, Huckleberry Pucker Shandy, Over the Hop IPA, Hop Hammer imperial IPA and Scottish Stovepipe (both regular and tequila barrel-aged) on tap.
SATURDAY
– Celebrate National Homebrew Day with Inland Brewers Unite (IBU) at Nu Home Brew in Spokane Valley starting at 10 a.m. (bring your equipment and brew, or just come to watch; discount club memberships available), and with Warriors of the Rotating Tap (WORT) beginning at 9 a.m. at Two Knights in Post Falls.
