Detectives ask for help to find man who stole $1,800 in power tools in Mead

Spokane County detectives are asking for help identifying a man involved in a June 22 robbery of over $1,800 in DeWalt power tools.

One suspect, 38-year-old Felipe E. Murillo, was arrested Monday morning.

The unidentified suspect is described as a white male in his 20s or 30s with a full beard. He was wearing a dark gray baseball cap with sunglasses on the bill, tan button-up, wool, long-sleeved shirt and blue jeans.

The two suspects stole the power tools from North 40 Outfitters, 15228 N. Newport Highway, in Mead at about 9:50 a.m., and during the retreat from the scene, hit an employee with a car who was trying to take pictures of the license plate.

Investigators are asking anyone with information on the incident to call Detective Kirk Keyser at (509)477-6611.
