Northern Colorado edges EWU women in overtime

Visiting Northern Colorado defeated Eastern Washington 67-62 in overtime in a game that saw 10 lead changes and 14 ties.
Violet Kapri Morrow, who led EWU with 21 points, made a layup to tie the game at 58 with 3.6 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter.
After Grace Kirscher made a layup to open overtime, Eastern Washington (2-11, 1-3 Big Sky) was held scoreless for almost four minutes and Northern Colorado (9-4, 4-0) built a 9-4 advantage in the extra period.
Kirscher had 14 points and Alissa Sealby had a career-high 12 for the Eagles.
Savannah Smith led Northern Colorado with 25 points but was 9 for 27 from the field, including 1 for 12 on 3-pointers.
