Temple observance will recall Holocaust

Temple Beth Shalom, 1322 E. 30th Ave., is joining Jews everywhere to observe Holocaust Remembrance Day, or Yom HaShoah, at 7 p.m. Tuesday. This year marks the 60th anniversary of the International Military Tribunal at Nuremburg, Germany. In recognition of this, the theme, "Let there Be Light Again: Sixty Years After Nuremburg," will tell the story of the Holocaust, as well as discuss the many atrocities that are inflicted upon other humans today.

In 1969, former members of Westminster Congregational Church had been worshipping for a few years in an old synagogue at 1502 W.
