Produce expected to be available this week at area farmers’ markets (depending on weather; shop early for best selection):

Spokane MarketPlace (Wednesdays and Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., First and Jefferson, downtown): Assorted pumpkins, various tomatoes (including green), several varieties of squash, arugula, garlic, potatoes, peppers (bell and hot), eggplant, zucchini, carrots, salad mix, radishes, green onions, mushrooms, edible flowers, various gourds, multicolored corn and cornstalks, assorted herbs, plums (red, Chinese yellow, Italian), apples, honey.
