Florence Dolfay Sandpoint

Florence Josephine (Wolfe) Dolfay, celebrates her 100th birthday today.

Mrs. Dolfay, who was born Feb. 17, 1899, in Minneapolis, moved to North Idaho four years ago.

She married George Dolfay in 1967; he died in 1974.

Mrs. Dolfay was a bookkeeper from 1919 to 1923 and worked as a telephone operator from 1940 to 1964.

She has two daughters, Kathlyn Schuck, Hope, Idaho, and Sharon Crosby, Sun Lakes, Ariz.; 16 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Dolfay attributes her longevity to the love of life, family and taking care of herself.
