Tasters Decline New Scrambles

Laura Crooks Food Editor

Pillsbury may have a following somewhere for its egg-filled, toaster pastries, but it certainly isn’t among our Reader Food Panel members.

We tested the newest variety of the company’s Toaster Scrambles: Western Style complete with cheese sauce, scrambled eggs, ham, green peppers and onions.

Baffled looks spread across our tasters’ faces as the bright orange cheese sauce oozed out. Many felt this product is an example of convenience foods gone awry.
