UPDATES THURSDAY 11/12
– Ninkasi’s Quantum Pale Ale, Total Crystalation fresh hop IPA, Tricerahops imperial IPA and Noir coffee milk stout will be featured at the North Side Growler Guys on Friday from 5 to 7.
– In observance of Friday the 13th, all growler fills (including seasonal specialties) will be $13 at Hopped Up .
UPDATES TUESDAY 11/10
– This week’s Brewsday Tuesday special at No-Li is a pint of peach-infused Poser plus a growler for $15, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
– Wednesday’s small-batch release at Daft Badger is a single-hop Citra IPA.
– The Hop Shop hosts a Big Barn tap takeover Friday at 4 p.m., with pint and flight specials and food from the Bite Me truck.
– A Stone event Saturday starting at 3 p.m. at Pints Alehouse will feature the new Sorry Not Sorry peach imperial IPA collaboration with Bale Breaker and 4 Hands, plus the bourbon barrel-aged W00t imperial stout with cocoa and pecans; Vertical Epic 8.8.8. Belgian-style IPA; bourbon barrel-aged Arrogant Bastard; Depth-Charged Double Bastard (with espresso beans); 2014 vintage Double Bastard, and 2013 Imperial Russian Stout.
– Hill’s is pouring a reserve of the imperial Jubel 2015 , released in February, alongside this year’s newly released regular Jubelale, while supplies last.
A look ahead at the upcoming week in local craft beer:
– The Hop Shop launches its new Monday special today from 5 to 7: a free slice of Bennidito’s pizza when you order a pint of Bennidito’s Brewpub beer (tonight, Tin Roof IPA).
– The Blackbird hosts a release party Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. for Sorry Not Sorry , an imperial IPA collaboration between Bale Breaker, Stone and 4 Hands brewed with pureed peaches and experimental hops; also look for Bale Breaker’s Piled High imperial fresh hop.
– Pilgrim’s in Coeur d’Alene will feature three beers from Bend’s GoodLife Brewing – Sweet as Pale Ale, Mt. Rescue dry-hop pale and Descender IPA – in a tasting Wednesday at 3:30.
– Orlison rolls out this season’s Roast House Stout , made with coffee from the Spokane company, Wednesday from 5 to 9 in the taproom; also look for it in 22-ounce bottles this year.
– Trickster’s Limelight fresh hop and Dark Side of the Trickster black IPA will pour at an event Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m at Powder Hound Pizza in Sandpoint.
– Slate Creek will tap a small-batch Base Camp Brown for this week’s Slate@8 on Wednesday, along with Pepe Caldo pizza by the slice and music by Tabitha Coldiron; all pints $3 after 8 p.m..
– Perry Street Brewing’s second annual Pray For Snow party, Thursday starting at 5 p.m., will feature classic ski movies, raffles and giveaways along with beer specials and prizes for customers sporting the best vintage ski attire.
– Beers from Grand Teton – including Snarling Badger Berliner Weisse, Bitch Creek Extra Special Brown (straight, and aged in both syrah and bourbon barrels) and barrel-aged Lazy Marmot Maibock – star in a tap takeover Thursday from 5 to 8 at Crafted in Coeur d’Alene.
– No-Li celebrates the launch of its first canned beer , Born & Raised IPA, with a release party Friday at 5 p.m.; look for the six-packs of 12-ounce cans in stores soon.
– Downdraft’s first anniversary party Saturday from 1 to 10 p.m. will feature the release of two seasonal beers, along with live music by Fair 2 Middlin’ and food from Nick’s Shameless Sausages starting at 6.
– A free introductory Learn to Brew Your Own Beer class will be presented by Peter McArthur of Nu Home Brew & Bottles and Inland Brewers Unite on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Liberty Lake Municipal Library.
– An American Homebrewers Association Rally on Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. at No-Li will include brewery tours, beer specials, appetizers, prizes, swag and more. You must be an AHA member; new members can sign up onsite at a discounted rate.
– At least a dozen different barrel-aged beers will pour at Twelve String’s second annual Barrelfest on Sunday from noon to 5.
