The Gonzaga Bulldogs visit the Portland Pilots on Saturday, looking to keep their “special season” rolling along.

Portland’s Alec Wintering and Jazz Johnson form the third-highest scoring backcourt in the country. Wintering leads the WCC at 21 points per game. Johnson paces the conference in 3-point percentage (48.7) and is seventh in scoring (17.7).

The Zags had success running San Francisco shooters off the 3-point arc, but that’s only half the battle against the speedy Wintering, a proficient driver who can finish in the lane and distribute (second in WCC at 6.1 assists).
