SAN FRANCISCO – The San Francisco Dons accomplished something that no other West Coast Conference team has done this season against Gonzaga.

Here are three observations from Gonzaga’s 95-75 West Coast Conference victory against San Francisco on Saturday night at the Chase Center in San Francisco.

MOSCOW, Idaho – Idaho State’s 36-32 halftime lead Thursday was the measure of the game as the Bengals and Idaho battled to a 33-all second-half stalemate during ISU’s 69-65 win over the Vandals.

When Angelo Winkel swatted away Blaise Threatt’s running layup and the Reese Court buzzer sounded, it appeared as if Eastern Washington and Weber State were headed to overtime.

The Gonzaga women’s basketball team can be such a riddle at times.
