The preseason accolades continue to pour in for Gonzaga’s Graham Ike, who was named Thursday to the watch list for the Karl Malone Award, given annually to the top power forward in college basketball.

Matching the quality of the team matchups is the top-tier individual talent on Gonzaga's non-conference slate. There are probable top five draft picks, fab freshmen, savvy seniors, prized transfers, national champions, All-Americans, a former Zag or two and possibly a former Gael.

After leading by two points with 10 minutes, 38 seconds remaining, the Zags proceeded to lead 64-27 at halftime and score 88 of the final 121 points.

Warner Pacific kept it close for the first 9-plus minutes before the Zags took off and never looked back in 109-52 victory.
