Game On: Sonic Frontiers is an invigorating and excellent adventure

I’ve made it no secret that I’ve been a fan of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise for as long as I can remember. Some of my earliest memories are of playing his early Sega Genesis titles, and around the time I became more “conscious” – at about 5 years old – I had an absolute blast playing the brand-new Sonic Adventure series with my older sibling.

“Ceremony” is an audacious title for anything in the synth-driven alternative rock world. One of New Order’s greatest songs bears the same name. However, Phantogram decided to go with the same moniker with the release of its latest album, “Ceremony” and it’s fine.

Game On: Is government to blame for the predatory monetization of Overwatch 2?

Overwatch 2 formally launched on Oct. 4, and while the game is as fun as ever, absolutely nothing about it necessitates or even constitutes a sequel. All Blizzard did was introduce a fresh monetization scheme, add three new heroes, a couple of new maps and a new game mode. They migrated everything from the original into the sequel and shut down the old servers – a real slap to the face of everyone who bought the original.
