JJ is open, informed

Recently my wife and I had the pleasure of meeting JJ Johnson and his lovely wife, Sheryl. We were invited to dinner by a common friend. We had never met JJ or knew anything about him other than reading in The Spokesman-Review that he had filed for Spokane Valley City Council.

Kearney cares about Spokane

I have had the pleasure of knowing and working with Karen Kearney for over 10 years in the northwest part of Spokane. During that time, she has worked continuously to make this area of Spokane better and safer for all that live here. During most of that time she has been a neighborhood council chair, working on traffic calming improvements, issuing dump passes and doing good deeds for the sake of her community.

What ended worldwide slavery?

Given the poisonous "White shaming" for "White guilt" about "White supremacy," especially about slavery, there are some historical facts worth noting. First, all races practiced slavery on all continents from the beginning of human civilization as a "normal" human practice. So how did this "normal" practice end?
