The touring Broadway production of “Wicked” got some mid-run tweaking during its stop in Spokane thanks to some behind-the-scenes magic at the Spokane Falls Community College recording studio. The production team behind the North American tour used the studio to rerecord several voiceovers due to cast changes.

Inland Northwest Opera’s board of directors announced Monday that Dan Wallace Miller will take over the role of artistic director from Dawn Wolski. Before accepting the role, Miller, who directed INO’s production of “Orpheus and Eurydice” last season, was already engaged to direct the opera’s 2022 season.

Before the program “Masterworks 6: The Genesis of the Spokane Symphony” began at 8 p.m. Saturday, the symphony performed the Ukraine national anthem in solidarity with the nation. There was big applause when Lowe made the announcement and a long standing ovation after it was played.
It's not surprising that George Carlin is Christopher Titus' favorite comedian. Much like the late iconic Carlin, who was as much philosopher and wordsmith as a standup, Titus is raw, blunt and uncompromising. Unlike many of his peers, Titus, 57, doesn't care who he offends.
