The 15-year-old, often referred to by his friends and family members as “Shad,” was shot and killed at a home in Reardan last week in an incident described by Police Chief Andy Manke as a “horrible misfortune.”
A deputy was traveling on Sprague Avenue while responding to a call at about 9:40 p.m. when a van traveling on University Road failed to stop for a red light at the Sprague intersection and collided with the deputy, the sheriff's office said.
