The Washington Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) football playoff seeding committees released the schedule of matchups for the first round of the state playoffs in the five largest classifications on Sunday.

North Central and Rogers football have struggled in recent years. The Greater Spokane League allowed both teams to avoid playing a full schedule against the 4A teams in the league this year and as a result, the pair were scheduled against each other twice – with the first of the two meetings a nonleague game.
